Question

List down the pathway of inhaled air through the respiratory system in the correct order from top to bottom.

Open in App
Solution

The respiratory system starts from the nose that has two tiny openings known as nostrils. The inhaled air first enters through these nostrils and then goes into the nasal cavity.

Air then passes through the pharynx, which is the common passage for both food and air.

After that, air enters into the trachea.

Air finally enters into the lungs, which are important respiratory organs.
