List one major harmful effect of the following:
i.Rivers contaminated with sewage.
ii.Too much gaseous exhausts containing CO2 and SO2.

i. Sewage disposed of into rivers cause diseases such as diarrhoea, dysentery, cholera, typhoid, and jaundice.
ii. If the concentration of CO2 and SO2 is higher from the exhausts can cause global warming and affects the lungs.
iii. Pesticides such as DDT can affect non-target organisms in the farms and increase the risk of biomagnification.
iv. Prolonged loud noise from firecrackers can also cause high blood pressure, heart disease, sleep disturbances, and stress. These health problems can affect all age groups, especially children.
