Enveloped virus Naked virus
In addition to nucleocapsid they contain an outer membrane line structure called the envelope.They contain only the nucleocapsid and lack the envelope.
Virions with envelopes are sensitive to lipid solvents such as ether and Chloroform.Naked virions are not affected by the lipid solvents.
