Mixtures are substances having different components which are not chemically combined.

There are two types of mixtures present i.e homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures

Homogeneous mixtureHeterogeneous mixture
Different components are mixed uniformly.Different components are mixed non-uniformly.
The components have the same composition and can not distinguish components with our naked eye.The components not have the same composition and can distinguish components physically.
Separation of components is difficult physically.Separation of components is easier physically.
Generally, it will be having only one phaseGenerally, it will be having two or more phases
Examples: soda, airExamples: milk, paint
