Properties of Acids:
- Acids are sour–tasting chemicals.
- Acids are corrosive by nature and react strongly with metals.

- Bases are bitter-tasting chemicals
- Bases are soapy to touch
- Bases may or may not dissolve in water. The bases which are soluble in water are called alkalis.
