Adaptations of mountain goat are as follows:

  1. A mountain goat wool coat is white to hide them from predators and also to withstand the winter temperatures.
  2. They have long black horns to fight predators.
  3. The hooves can spread apart which helps in climbing steep and rocky slopes.
  4. They have powerful shoulder and neck muscles that help to propel them up the steep slopes.
