  1. Ovid, Cicero, and Plautus were other great literary figures. Cato and Seneca were famous philosophers, who promoted the idea of coexisting with nature. Julius Caesar was also a good historian. ​
  2. The Colosseum and the Cupid statue are some examples of Roman art and sculpture that are visited till date by tourists from around the world. ​
  3. Romans also contributed to the field of natural sciences, geology and mathematics. Strabo and Ptolemy were famous Roman geologists.​
