Solution

Dear student,
Luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicular stimulating hormone (FSH) are the two hormones which stimulates the production of testosterone in males and affect differently in the production of estrogen and progesterone in females. Testosterone is the male hormones responsible for changes during adolescence and estrogen is the female hormone responsible for changes during adolescence. In boys, puberty is triggered by the testosterone hormone which is secreted from testes. Boys develop secondary sexual characters like enlargement of penis and scortum, growth of hair in faces and chest, extra hair in the armpits, increase in height and deepening of voice etc. In girls, puberty is triggered by estrogen hormone which is secreted from Ovaries. When the level of progesterone falls menstrual cycle starts when girls attain puberty. Growth and maturity of reproductive tract during puberty, changes a girl into women fit to bear children. They developed with secondary sexual characters like growth of breasts and vulva, growth of pubic hair, extra hair in the armpits.
