Three points of difference between the lives of farmers/ herders from hunter-gatherers are discussed below-
(a) Hunter-gatherers kept traveling from place to place whereas farmers had to live at same place for longer periods of time to take care of their crops.
(b) Hunter-gatherers social life was vague or random whereas farmers and herders have to live and develop in a well managed societies. Farmers and hunters are believed to start the first rural social structure.
(c) Hunter-gatherers did not have any sense of common belonging and believed in the idea of might is right. Farmers and herders started to work on rules and regulation and maintain social hierarchies.
