When the functioning of one or more or system of the body is adversely affected characterised by various signs and symptoms we say that we are not healtly i.e. we have a disease. Disease are broadly grouped into infections and non-infections disease. The disease which are easily transmitted from one person to another are called infections disease, Infections disease are very common and every one of us suffers some of the infections disease are $AIDS$ which is total Among non-infections disease cancer is the major cause of death.

A wide range of organism belonging to bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoans, helminths, etc, could cause disease in man such disease-causing organism are called pathogens.

The symptoms differs with the cause and pathogen of the disease for ex. Malaria is caused by Plasmodium and Entamoema histolytic protozoan causes Amoebiasis etc.
