Look at the layers 2 and 3 (T.B. Page No.29). Which do you think is the earlier layer? Why?

When the mound is dug up, what is found from the upper layer of the mound is generally made of discarded waste material than what is found from the lower layers of mound, which are older. So the layer 3 is the earlier layer.
