Identify the picture in which friction plays a helpful role.
A, B and C
In all the three pictures friction plays a helpful role. Striking a matchstick causes heat which helps light the match. Playing snooker requires kinetic friction in order for the ball to stop at the right time. The friction between the surface irregularities of chalk and the board causes the breaking of bonds and hence, leaves behind the remnants of the chalk on the board.
