(B) Smooth endoplasmiuc reticulum
(C) Cytoplasm
(D) Golgi bodies

Solution

Dear student,
Glycosylation of protein molecule occurs in the rough endoplasmic reticulum and golgi complex. Proteins synthesised on the rough endoplasmic reticulum are pulled inside the lumen where signal sequences are cleaved by signal peptidase. Glycosylation of protein is required for proper folding of the protein. Some of the modification happens in the rough endoplasmic reticulum and the remaining modification occurs in golgi apparatus.
