Solution

The correct option is E All of the above
Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease of humans and other animals caused by parasitic protozoans (a group of single-celled microorganism) belonging to the genus Plasmodium. The parasite always has two hosts in its life cycle: a mosquito vector and a vertebrate host. Malaria kills an estimated 1 million people each year worldwide. Malaria is transmitted exclusively through the bites of female anopheles mosquitoes and they must have been infected through a previous blood meal taken from an infected person. When a mosquito bites an infected person, a small amount of blood is taken in which contains microscopic malaria parasites.
So, the correct answer is option E.
