Solution

Moat is also called pulley system which involves the pulling out of water from the wells or other sources. Rahat involves animal labour. An ox or a cow is used to draw water from the well. Modern methods of irrigation include sprinkler and drip system. In sprinkler system, water gets sprinkled on the crop plants as if it is raining. In drip system water falls drop by drop near the roots of the plant through narrow pipes which minimises the wastage of water.
