If electrons are entering s-block then they can have the tendency to donate electrons because of they get stable configuration hence so-called metals which are alkali in nature and found in the earth more. Hence, s-block elements are called alkali and alkali earth metals. The elements having the tendency to accept one electron by which they get stable configuration are called halogens in which the last electron enters p-block like fluorine, chlorine and so on and even noble gases also come under p-block elements because in this elements we find the stable configuration that is complete s- and p-orbitals are filled.
s-block elements are called representative elements.
In case of noble elements, it is very difficult to remove electrons as they have paired and stable configuration. Hence high ionization energy is required.
