Solution

The correct option is B A-iii; B-i; C-iv; D-ii
Kingdom Plantae is classified into- thallophyta, bryophyta, pteridophyta, gymnosperms and angiosperms.
  • Thallophyta do not have a well-differentiated body (thallus). They are commonly called algae and are predominantly aquatic. E.g: Spirogyra.
  • Bryophyta have a partially differentiated body. There is no specialised tissue for the conduction of water and other substances. These are called the amphibians of the plant kingdom. E.g: Funaria.
  • Pteridophyta is well-differentiated into roots, stem and leaves. They have specialised tissue for the conduction of water and other substances. E.g: Fern.
  • Gymnosperms bear naked seeds and are usually perennial, evergreen and woody plants. E.g: Pines.
  • Angiosperms are flowering plants. The seeds of the angiosperm are found enclosed in an ovary of a flower. E.g: Mango.
