Yeast reproduces by the process of budding. In this process, small buds originate from a parent cell which later mature to form new yeast cells. These buds may or may not detach from the parent cell. Paramecium reproduces by binary fission in which one cell divides to form two new cells. Plasmodium is the pathogen that causes malaria. It reproduces by forming many cells from one cell. This process is called multiple fission.
