The nasal passage is called the meatus.
Vibrissae is the hair present in the initial portion of the nose (nasal vestibule) which is responsible for filtering the unwanted particles (e.g: dust) in the air we breathe in.
Nasal conchae is a curled bone that holds the meatus open.
Goblet cells produce mucus, which filters the air we breathe in and removes unwanted particles and bacteria.
