Red blood cells plasma membrane contains following enzymes: ATPases, anion transport protein, glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase, protein kinases, adenylate cyclase, acetylcholinesterase.
Thus among glycolytic enzymes, glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase is present in red blood cells plasma membrane. Where as no enzymes of citric acid cycle also known as TCA cycle ( tricarboxylic acid cycle) or krebs cycle is present in RBCs.
