Given,
Meenu reads 50 pages everyday
Number of pages read in 3 days $=3\times 50=150$
Number of pages in a book = 40

$\therefore$ Number of books read by Meenu $=\frac{150}{40}=\frac{15}{4}$

Converting $\frac{15}{4}$ into mixed form

$\therefore \frac{15}{4}\text{can be written as}\text{quotient}\frac{\text{remainder}}{\text{divisor}}i.e.3\frac{3}{4}$

Hence, Meenu read 3 complete books and three fourth of one book.
