Cross breeding is a technique which is used to improve the strains of dairy animals. The two breed of the animals is cross breed to inherit the desired character in the offspring. This technique helps to improve the character of the offspring. For example, an Indian cow yields 5-6 litres of milk but when crossed with exotic breeds like Jersey, the yield rises to 10-12 litres.
