Solution

Trypsin is a serine protease found in digestive system of vertebrates. they are produced in the pancreas.it catalyzes the hydrolysis of peptide bonda, breaking down into smaller peptides in tissue culture, trypsin is used to re suspend cells adherent to the cell culture dish wall. also used in proteomics experiments to digest proteins into peptides. Pepsinis an enzyme that breaks downproteins intosmallerpeptides(that is, aprotease). It is produced in thestomachand is one of the maindigestive enzymein thedigestive system ofhumans and many other animals, where it helpsdigestthe proteins infood.Pepsin has a three dimensional structure, of which one or more polypeptide chains twist and fold, bringing together a small number of amino acids to form the active site, or the location on the enzyme where the substrate binds and the reaction takes place. In simple words:

Perpsin:

1. It is secreted from the gastric glands of stomach.

2. It is secreted in inactive form called pepsinogen.

3. It acts on protein and converts them into proteoses and peptones.

4. It catalyses in acidic medium.

Trypsin:

1. It is secreted from the exocrine pancreas.

2. It is secreted in inactive form called trypsinogen.

3. It acts on proteoses and peptones and converts them into polypeptides.

4. It catalyses in alkaline medium. These are the major difference between then
