Solution
Congress finally accepted the partition of India because:
1. The country was already facing many communal riots over the partitioning of the India. Congress concluded that only way to solve theses riots was by partitioning the country into 2 separate countries: India and Pakistan.
2. Muslim League and Congress never happened to be on the same page while they worked together. This bitter working experience of the Congress with the Muslim League convinced that the latter had joined the Interim Government and will only obstruct and not cooperate.
