(i) In the grana of the chloroplast; Thylakoids are the third membrane system of chloroplasts and contain photosystems.

(ii) Organ of corti is located in middle cochlear canal in the inner ear and has hair cells (mechanoreceptors) on its basilar membrane.

(iii) On older stem; Lenticels are the aerating pores formed by rupture of the epidermis of root and stem at several places after secondary growth

(iv) Between the left auricle and left ventricle; bicuspid (mitral) valve has two cusps.

(v) In renal medulla; Loop of Henle is the “U” shaped region of the nephron and serves to establish an osmotic gradient in the renal medulla.
