∴ Amount Miss Anjali has to pay for a saree $= x + \frac{18}{100} x$
$= (1 + \frac{18}{100}) x$
$= (1 + \frac{9}{50}) x$
$= (\frac{50 + 9}{50}) x$
$= ₹ \frac{59 x}{50}$
Step 2: Find the reduction done on the list price of a saree.
According to the question, Miss Anjali wants to pay $₹ 885$ including GST
∴ $\frac{59 x}{50} = 885$
$x = \frac{885 \times 50}{59}$
