Miss you told that in vaccine attenuated virus( the one against which vaccine is being made) is there but , the first vaccine made by Edward Jenner against Small pox had cow pox virus and cowpox isn't the attenuated form of small pox so, why is it termed as a vaccine ?

Dear Yashasvika, latin word for cow is "vacca"; and cow pox is "vaccinia" ; Hence Jenner decided to call it as Vaccine and the procedure as vaccination.
