Question

Monocultures are bad for soil health

Open in App
Solution

Mono culture is a practice of growing or producing a single plant species or crop in a field at a time. Continuos practising of mono culture can lead to the build up of diseases, as a uniform crop is susceptible to pathogen attack and also decreases the nutrient content of the soil.
