Bryophyte:-
  • Plant body does not have true roots, stems and leaves but shows root like and leaf-like structures.
  • True vascular system is absent.
  • Sex organs are multicellular.
  • Embryo is formed after fertilization.
  • Example: Mosses

Pteridophytes:-
  • Plants have true roots, stems and leaves.
  • True vascular system is present.
  • Sex organs are multicellular.
  • Embryo is formed after fertilization.
  • Example: Ferns.
