(i) Mr. Gupta faces psychological or emotional barrier where he is preoccupied with work and lacks attention towards his workers.
(ii) The function is of Supervision in directing, which will help Mr. Gupta to reduce his workload.
(iii) The role played by the appointed person is of a Supervisor who will guide and control all workers as well as plan and instruct them to perform their respective tasks.
(iv) The supervisor will act :
(a) As a delegator where she /he will make definitive decisions and delegate all activities to respective workers.
(b) As a mediator by acting as a link between Mr. Gupta and the workers.
(c) As a human resource specialist the supervisor will establish an ethical environment by establishing performance standards, policies and ensuring equal/ fair treatment to employees, etc.
