Suresh stands in front of a shiny uneven surface, but he is not able to see his image on the surface. Why does this happen?

Solution

The irregular surface reflects light rays irregularly in random directions as shown. Owing to which, light rays coming from a point does not meet when traced backwards and hence image is not formed.
