Solution: A number of coins were issued during the historical period by many powerful rulers of that time. They were mostly made of precious metals such as gold, silver etc.

Even bronze and copper coins were also issued by some rulers. Abundance of metal coins proves that metallurgy was practiced at that time, hence it justifies the advanced technical knowledge of that time.
The use of precious metals for minting coins gives us evidence of the rich economic condition of the people of that time.
