In an RLC circuit,
Power factor is defined as RZ

When only inductor and resistance are present in the circuit, power factor
P1=RZ1=RX2L+R2=R9R2+R2=110

When capacitor is also added to circuit, power factor
P2=RZ2=R(XLXC)2+R2=R(3R2R)2+R2=12

Ratio of new powerfactor with old power factor is P2P1=102=51=5x
Here, x=1

Hence, value of 9x is 9,9.0,9.00
