  • Endothermic changes needs absorption of heat from surroundings.
  • Those reactions in which energy is absorbed in the form heat.
  • For example, Boiling of water, sublimation etc.
  • These changes may leads to change in state of a substance.
  • Boiling of water is an endothermic process as boiling of water at 100°C will change the liquid state of water from liquid to vapours.

Hence , heat is absorbed in endothermic processes.
