Three methods of weed control are:
1. Physical method:
Hand weeding and burning are examples of physical methods of weed control.
Weeds are removed through hands.
Various instruments such as a hoe are used to remove the weeds.
2. Chemical methods:
They involve killing weeds by spraying certain Chemicals called weedicides.
Weedicides are so-known as herbicides.
Some examples are TCA trichloro phenoxy acetic acid.
Biological method:
In this method, a natural enemy of weed plants is used for the success of this method, it is necessary that the destructive agent must be highly specialized and should not harm the crop given under starvation conditions.
It is one of the most important methods of controlling weeds.
