Measles
Causative organism- Paramyxovirus
It is transmitted in tiny droplets when an infected person coughes, breathes or sneeze. It is highly contagious and seen mostly in children.
Incubation period- 1-2 weeks
Anthrax
Causative organism- bacillus anthracis
Most commonly occur in animals such as pigs, horses, cattle, goat etc. Sometimes it can also infect humans. Infection in people can be caused by contact with spores through cut in the skin, inhaling or eating the meat that contains spores.
Incubation period- 2-6 days
