Name the crops grown in summer and winter season.

Crops sown in between March and June are called summer crops or zaid crops. This crop requires warm & dry weather for growth and a longer day-length for flowering
Example: Seasonal fruits and vegetables like Mango, watermelons etc.

Crops sown in between October and January are called winter crops or rabi crops. These crop requires cold weather for growth and need less water.

Example: wheat, oats, barley, pulses, cereals, oilseeds, linseed, etc.
