Solution

Metabolic events in the body:

  1. Within the body, various metabolic events, whether anabolic (constructive), i.e. production of complex molecules from simpler ones, or catabolic (destructive), therefore the breakdown of complex molecules into simpler forms, release energy.
  2. They also produce substances that the body does not require.

Organic wastes:

  1. Urea, uric acid, and creatinine are the most important organic compounds.
  2. Urea is a byproduct of the liver's conversion of ammonia and carbon dioxide into urea.
  3. These compounds are known as waste products, and they must be removed from the body as soon as possible since they are potentially hazardous.
  4. Carbon dioxide is an organic waste product that is created in human bodies.
