Adrenaline
Adrenaline also known as epinephrine, is a stress hormone secreted by the adrenal gland present on top of both the kidneys.
The adrenaline secretion in the blood can trigger the body's fight-or-flight response and prepare the body for adverse situations like fear, anger, flight, etc.
It increases the heartbeat, cardiac output, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
Adrenaline is generally released in acute stress conditions in comparison to cortisol which is a chronic stress hormone.
