Solution

Bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungus, and a few worm species are among the disease-causing microbes. They disturb or harm the normal cellular functions once they have penetrated the host cell. This results in the spread of illnesses. They enter the body through the skin, respiratory tract, and mouth oral cavity.

Bacteria:

  1. Bacteria are unicellular microorganisms. They're bigger compared to viruses.
  2. Only some bacteria cause illness, while others are beneficial to the environment.
  3. Human diseases induced by microorganisms include whooping cough, typhoid, cholera, anthrax, and others.

Fungi:

  1. Fungi are heterotrophic creatures that look like plants. They are chlorophyll-deficient.
  2. Cell walls are present in their cells. Human diseases induced by fungi include athlete's foot, ringworm, and others.

Protozoa,

  1. Protozoa which include Amoeba, Trypanosoma, and Leishmania, are simple, primitive unicellular organisms.
  2. They are frequently seen in water since they need moisture to survive. As a result, they spread disease via contaminated water.
  3. Protozoa produce diseases such as amoebiasis, kala-azar, malaria, African sleeping sickness, and others.

Worms

  1. Worms are parasitic worms that infect both humans' and animals' intestines.
  2. Disease-causing worms include roundworms, pinworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. Worms can cause diarrhea, anemia, liver rot, and other disorders.
