Follicular phase:

  1. Follicular phase is also called a proliferative phase.
  2. It lasts for 7 or 4 days.
  3. In this phase follicle matures, and estrogen secreted from the follicle influences the uterine wall to thicken, to receive the embryo.
  4. During this phase uterus lining re-thickens with a lot of blood supply, and glands become larger.
  5. Follicle matures in the Follicular phase.
