Solution

Understanding Hydrogen Bonding:

  • Hydrogen-Bond or H-bond is formed between a Hydrogen atom bonded to an electronegative element (such as F>O>N>Cl) to another electronegative element.
  • It is basically a force of attraction between Hydrogen and an electronegative atom.
  • The presence of an H-bond in a molecule stabilizes the molecule up to a great extent.
  • Hydrogen bond affects many physical properties such as Boiling point, Existence, Stability, Solubility, etc.
  • But, it does not affect the property such as Electronegativity.
