Process of fertilization:
Fusion of sperm nucleus and ovum nucleus to form zygote takes place in the fallopian tube. This process of fusion of sperm and ova is known as fertilization.
In males testes produces sperm and in females ovaries produces ova. Sperms are released into the vagina during sexual intercourse.
By using their tails, sperm reaches to the uterus and continue through the uterus into oviduct.
