Solution

The two main systems found in plants are the root system and the shoot system.

Root system:

  1. When a seed germinates, the radicle is the first organ to come out of it. Radicle elongates and develops into the primary root.
  2. The root system is again classified into 2 types.
  3. The Taproot system and fibrous root system are two types of root systems.

Shoot system:

  1. When a seed germinates after the development of the radicle, a plumule develops. This plumule develops into the shoot.
  2. The shoot system is an aerial and erect part of the plant body that grows upwards.
  3. It consists of a stem, branches, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds.
