They can be tackled by using the three R’s that is Reduce, Recycle and Reuse

1. We can use more renewable energy.
2. We can reduce the consumption of electricity by switching off the fans and lights when we are not using them.
3. We can recycle plastic, paper, glass, and metal items or reuse them.
4. We can protect the ozone layer by minimizing the use of cars and not using corrosive and toxic solvents. We can reduce the use of air conditioning which emits CFC.
5. We can reduce global warming by saving energy at home, by using bicycles or walking, and by planting trees.
6. To prevent pollution we can use cloth bags or paper bags instead of plastic bags, fans instead of air conditioning, filters in chimneys,
7. We can prevent land degradation by planting more trees.
