  1. A genetic disorder is an abnormal condition that a person inherits via genes or chromosomes.
  2. Mutations cause genetic disorders.
  3. Mutations can develop during the formation of sex cells or be handed down from parent to offspring.
  4. Two genetic disorders that are commonly seen in human males are given below:

(A) Hemophilia:

  1. It is a disease in which blood does not clot properly because of the absence of clotting proteins.
  2. It is caused due to mutation in one of the genes which form such clotting proteins.

(B) Color blindness:

  1. It is a disease in which the ability to distinguish between colors reduces.
  2. The faulty genes that cause this disease are inherited from parents.

Genetic disorders usually seen in human males are hemophilia and color blindness.
