1. Polar habitat: These habitats are extremely cold and covered with snow throughout the year. Vegetation is very scanty and only few animals thrive in these harsh weather conditions. E.g. Polar bears, reindeer, penguins and plants like moss.
2. Mountain habitat: Mountains have a rocky land, and are covered with snow and ice throughout the year. Temperature changes with increasing altitude. The lower regions are cooler whereas at higher altitudes weather is extremely icy and cold.
