Solution

As per the question

Total distance between school and Nandini's house = 910 km

Distance covered by bus = 12 km

Total distance between the school and Nandini's house = Distance covered by walking + Distance covered by bus

Distance covered by walking = Total distance between the school and Nandini's house - Distance covered by bus

On substituting the values we get:

Distance covered by walking = 91012=9×11×510 [ L.C.M. of 10 and 2 is 10 ]

= 9510=410=25 km

Therefore, she walked 25 km.
