Solution: A change in religious practices is witnessed during the end of Vedic period due to following reasons:
  • Rituals of religious practice during Vedic period, like Yajna became difficult for common people to understand.
  • Only priestly class had the knowledge of Yajna rites, which led to increase in importance of priests.
  • Discriminations based on Varna system led to restrictions by birth.
  • During the end of Vedic period people realized that every individual has the right to upliftment.
