Here are some ideas for your debate.


Pesticides Have Killed everything but,

1. Even though pesticides are supposed to kill only a single "target" organism, these lethal chemicals take out everything directly related to this particular organism and disrupt the ecosystem.

2. It also pollutes the water and poisons it with pesticide chemicals. One great example is DDT (which has been banned). This chemical wiped out so many populations of birds, insects, fish, etc in the post-WW2 era when these chemicals were first created for agricultural use.

3. Yet, these toxins can't be contained in one area and have a very negative and gruesome background with nature. I think today more than ever people should be taking a stand and spark a second environmental movement to improve the lives of the planet and ourselves.
